BARCLAYS SERVICES France provides private individuals and professionals with transport services using chauffeur-driven vehicles (VTC), exclusively by reservation and at a pre-defined price. To do this, it makes available to users, via its website barclays-services.com an online booking tool. Its activity has been authorised by the Ministry of Transport through the issue of the EVTC licence 006240480
Article 1: Purpose
The purpose of the present general conditions is to define the conditions applicable to transport service contracts concluded between BARCLAYS SERVICES France and its customers. Any order placed with BARCLAYS SERVICES France implies acceptance of the sales conditions below, which form an integral part of the transport contract signed between BARCLAYS SERVICES France and its customer. BARCLAYS SERVICES France is free to modify these general conditions of sale at any time, whatever the reason or cause.
Article 2: Booking
All bookings must be made by the customer or by a duly authorised representative. For all bookings, the customer must provide the following information:
Article 3: Prices
Our prices include VAT at 10 % on our transfer services and 20% on our provisioning services.
The prices of products and services are quoted in Euros and are firm at the time of ordering. Full payment is required when the order is placed.
The prices indicated include the vehicle, the chauffeur service, insurance for the persons transported, fuel, the kilometres and the time determined at the time of reservation and/or at the time of conclusion of the contract, as well as the transport of the customer's luggage within the limits of the vehicle's capacity. The cost of tolls, car parks, parking areas or entry to any location whatsoever chosen by the customer and/or made essential for the performance of the service not initially provided for in the itinerary shall remain payable by the customer.
The price given corresponds to a price per vehicle, whatever the number of people.

Article 4: Changes to the reservation
Any change to one or more essential elements of the booking will result in its cancellation.
BARCLAYS SERVICES France will do its best to satisfy the customer's request for modification.
Article 5: Cancellation and refund conditions
All bookings must be cancelled 96 hours before the start of the event. Failing this, no refund will be given for any reason whatsoever.
5.1 Cancellation by the customer: Any cancellation of an order by the customer cannot give rise to a refund of sums already paid, unless this cancellation occurs under the conditions defined in this article.
5.2 Cancellation due to force majeure: A refund of the sums paid at the time of ordering may only be granted in the event of proven force majeure. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, events beyond the reasonable control of the parties, unforeseeable at the time of sale and irresistible in their execution (for example: natural disasters, wars, serious epidemics, binding government decisions) are considered to be cases of force majeure.
5.3 Procedure in the event of force majeure: The customer must notify BARCLAYS SERVICES France of the event of force majeure within a maximum of 24 hours following its occurrence, in writing, providing proof of the event. Acceptance of the request for reimbursement is subject to the discretion of BARCLAYS SERVICES France after examination of the supporting documents provided.
5.4 Refund terms: If the refund request is accepted, the refund will be made within 10 days of acceptance, using the same payment method as that used by the Customer for the initial transaction, unless a different agreement is reached with the Customer.
Article 6: Availability
All hire services must be booked in writing. It must be made by the customer or by a duly authorised agent. All reservations must specify the place where the service is to be provided, the duration, the number of passengers and the name and contact details of the beneficiary of the service if these are different from those of the customer.
All cancellations must be notified 48 hours before the start of the service. Failing this, and for any reason whatsoever, a fixed non-deductible penalty equal to the amount initially booked will be payable.
The service is valid only once, and if it turns out that the customer is not present at the meeting place, the service will be definitively lost and will not give any right to reimbursement. Any waiting time will be charged at the hourly rate shown in our rates for the category of vehicle booked.
Article 7: Changes during service
Any change to the itinerary made by the customer during the service, resulting in changes to the programme, may give rise to supplements to be paid on the spot or at the end of the service.
In the event of a change to the route and/or the duration of the route due solely to the wishes of the client, the costs incurred shall be borne by the latter.
Article 8: Payments
For occasional customers, our services are payable at the time of booking (online payment via Paypal or Stripe), on board the vehicle by credit card (payment by TPE) or in cash.
For account customers, invoices are payable on receipt by bank transfer.
In all cases, the customer, who signs the booking form, is solely responsible for paying for the service.
Article 9: Obligations and liability of BARCLAYS SERVICES France
BARCLAYS SERVICES France undertakes to carry out or to have carried out the transport services in accordance with the reservation data and in compliance with all regulations and legislation in force within the allotted time and in accordance with the GCS.
BARCLAYS SERVICES France undertakes to do everything necessary to get the passenger to their destination as quickly as possible and in optimum safety conditions in accordance with the Highway Code and the laws in force.
BARCLAYS SERVICES France cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for delays in transport times due to circumstances beyond its control: blocked roads, bridges closed to traffic, diversions, flooded roads, traffic jams, interventions on the road by police, customs or fire services, etc. (this list is not exhaustive).
BARCLAYS SERVICES France cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for delays due to force majeure: strikes, weather conditions, attacks, riots, etc. (this list is not exhaustive).
BARCLAYS SERVICES France cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for delays resulting directly from a customer's initial delay, or from the need to complete a journey, at the customer's request, within a timeframe that is clearly too short.
In the event of immobilisation of the vehicle during the journey due to mechanical failure, an accident or damage (theft, deterioration), BARCLAYS SERVICES France will endeavour to ensure the continuity of the journey, either with one of its vehicles, or with a vehicle chartered from another company and undertakes to inform the client.
BARCLAYS SERVICES France is guaranteed by a solvent insurance company which covers the risks linked to its activity in accordance with the regulations in force. In the event of sub-contracting, BARCLAYS SERVICES France ensures that the persons and companies it uses meet the same conditions.
Article 10: Customer obligations and liability
The customer undertakes for himself and for the passengers for whom he has contracted BARCLAYS SERVICES France to behave in accordance with the following provisions:
Failure to comply with these provisions will engage the exclusive responsibility of the customer and passengers with regard to both BARCLAYS SERVICES France and third parties. In the event of damage to the equipment or the vehicle attributable to the customer or the accompanying passengers, the latter will be held fully responsible and will have to reimburse BARCLAYS SERVICES France and/or the driver for the costs of restoring the damaged vehicle or equipment.
BARCLAYS SERVICES France reserves the right to stop any service immediately if the customer behaves in a way that endangers the safety of the driver, the vehicle or other road users. The service will then be invoiced in full to the customer. BARCLAYS SERVICES France reserves the right to refuse pick-up, to drop off a passenger who does not respect these obligations and to cancel the customer's account.
The passenger is solely responsible for the objects and luggage in his/her care. BARCLAYS SERVICES France cannot be held responsible for any luggage forgotten in the vehicle.
Article 11: Collection of personal data
BARCLAYS SERVICES France undertakes to respect the privacy of its customers. Nominative information and other data communicated will not be used for any purpose other than the execution of the service requested, as well as the improvement of the service provided.
